SAV Systems and Mitsubishi Electric join forces in the heat networks market

Mitsubishi Electric has announced that SAV has become a Value Added Reseller (VAR) joining the manufacturer as a specialist provider of central plant rooms for heat networks and energy metering and monitoring systems.

SAV Systems has over 20 years of experience in delivering sustainable solutions and has used its Scandinavian roots to promote what it terms ‘Nordic synergi’, where working together in partnership and collaboration, helps build relationships and solutions that deliver for customers.

SAV operates out of four regional offices, in Woking, Bath, Manchester and Edinburgh, to provide cover to the whole of the country and seeks to continuously challenge the industry to find ways that improve indoor environment standards, whilst minimising energy wastage.

“We’ve been working on individual projects with SAV Systems now for over three years and they are a well-established provider of energy efficient heating and ventilation solutions that has built up a solid reputation by working with key technology partners,”

explains Richard Venga, Business Manager for Central Plant.

“We will now be working closely with the heat networks experts at SAV to see how we can maximise sales of our commercial heat pumps.”

SAV has constantly sought to push sustainable solutions and collaborate with the best partners, creating even better and smarter systems. The company will now be utilising Mitsubishi Electric’s commercial heat pumps to increase the range of solutions they are able to offer the market.

“At SAV, we’ve been pushing hard over the years to lower heat network design and operating temperatures, to improve efficiency and enable inclusion of more low carbon heat sources. Mitsubishi Electric’s heat pumps fit perfectly into this journey as heat pump COPs are optimised in low temperature heat networks,”

adds Jan Hansen, Director for SAV Systems.

The focus of the work with Mitsubishi Electric will be on central plant heat network schemes as Jan Hansen explains:

“We’ve already collaborated with design consultants on several projects with the Ecodan CAHV heat pump and can see that with the right design decisions they can be integrated very efficiently in energy centres across the country.”

SAV is renowned for its ability to get involved at the very earliest stages of a project and work alongside the customer’s team to enable a smooth delivery right through to commissioning, and beyond.
